Notary Public Stamp / Seal Requirements:

Rubber-inked stamp. Shape – round or rectangular. Required elements - state seal, name of Notary, commission expiration date, name of county where oath and bond are on file, commission number, ID assigned to the vendor, and the words “Notary Public.” The seal must have a serrated or milled edge border.

Ink color should be capable of being reproduced clearly by black / white scan, photocopy or other visible and legible means.

*NOTE than an embosser is optional and may only be used in addition to the ink stamp seal.

**NOTE: The State of California requires authentication to produce the Notary Seal. As an approved manufacturer of Notary Seals for the State of California, we must verify the authenticity of the original Certificate of Authorization issued to the Notary by the State. Once authenticated, we will use the produced seal to stamp the Certificate and return it to the offices of the Secretary of State of California. The seal will be shipped to the Notary (purchaser). *Please make a copy of your Certificate for your records and arrange to send us (manufacturer) the original Certificate.
